The growth of the Dwarf Spitz
It takes place in two distinct phases.
The first phase, rapid growth up to 4 months.
At 4 months of age, the Spitz puppy is at its peak of growth. It is estimated that its weight is equivalent to 2/3 of its adult weight.
The second phase, a slower growth until 8 – 10 months. The size of the puppy will increase slightly and the muscle mass will develop.

Fast growth
The puppy doubles its birth weight in one week.
It triples it in 3 weeks.
At one month, it will have increased its birth weight by 5 times.
At two months, you multiply its birth weight by 10 to 15, depending on the individual.
At 4 months, the growth peak is the time of greatest weight gain per day.
You can estimate its weight at 2/3 of its adult weight.
This remains, nevertheless, an indication – the final weight varies from one puppy to another, depending on his lifestyle, his diet, his sleep, the stimuli offered…

The coat will continue to grow and fill out until it is about 2 years old.
Let’s take the growth of 3 of my pomeranians as an example:

We can see that although the weights of my Pomeranians are quite similar at 2 months, they evolve differently.
This shows that the calculation is not that simple. Other criteria such as the ancestors of the puppies, the genetics of the parents, etc. must be added.
Just because the parents are both dwarfs, or are of a certain weight or size, does not mean that the puppies will be identical. Each individual is unique, different from his or her brother or sister.
But whether your dog is 2 kg or 3.5 kg, they are still very endearing and equally beautiful balls of fur. They will give you all the love you deserve and more!
Calculate your dog’s age
People often ask, “but in human age, how old is he?”
It is estimated that a puppy ages
15 times faster than humans during its first year,
6 in the second year,
4 years for each additional year.
I am attaching a link to a site that allows you to calculate the age of your dog according to its breed and its “dog” age:
In the table of dog breeds, neither the Pomeranian nor the Miniature German Spitz is mentioned. I have taken the Chihuahua as a default, but you can choose another breed that comes close.
